Discover Our Island Retreat

Why Choose Us
Where Privacy, Beauty, and Simplicity Come Together.
Exclusive Access
Massie Island accommodates only one family per season, offering complete privacy and uninterrupted time together. No neighbors, no noise—just your own three-acre world to explore.
Natural Beauty, Unmatched
From open shoreline and quiet reed beds to more than twenty varieties of trees and over one hundred migratory bird species, the island is alive with seasonal color and wildlife. Every view is a reminder of nature at its finest.
Seamless, Worry-Free Stays
Your stay is designed to be effortless. The island is prepared before you arrive, everything is in place, and if anything comes up, we handle it quickly. You get the freedom of solitude with the peace of knowing support is always close by.

World-Class Fishing
Massie Island sits on one of Minnesota’s most productive fisheries, offering world-class muskie, bass, walleye, crappie, and northern pike. Sunrise casts, sunset bites, and endless hidden pockets of reeds create the perfect conditions for unforgettable days on the water. We’ll even point you to our favorite spots.

The Landing
Every stay begins at The Landing — a private three-acre access point where you can park, dock, and step into a quieter world. From here, a short boat ride carries you across calm water to your island sanctuary.

The Front Dock
From the front dock, evenings slow down as the sun sinks across the reed-lined channel, painting the lake in soft pastels. The bullrush corridor creates a natural barrier that keeps the world at a distance, giving you total privacy and some of the best bass fishing the island has to offer.

The Back Dock
At the Back Dock, the lake feels endless and the water stays calm—a perfect place for swimming, sunning, fishing, or simply being still. With a soft walkout beach, a spacious deck with table and chairs, and unobstructed views of the horizon, this dock becomes a favorite backdrop for mornings, slow afternoons, and golden summer evenings.

On The Water
With a tri-toon, jet skis, a fully equipped fishing boat, paddleboards, and barges, Massie Island puts the entire lake at your command. Whether you’re chasing sunset cruises, early-morning paddles, tubing runs, or quiet explorations of hidden fishing pockets, your family can shape each day on the water exactly how you want it.

Golf
Massie Island features its own private 9-hole par-3 course, carved into the landscape and anchored by a stunning peninsula hole. No tee times, no crowds—just step outside, grab a wedge, and play whenever the moment strikes. It’s golf at its purest: simple, scenic, and endlessly fun.

A Sanctuary for Birds
Massie Island is a magnet for wildlife, with over one hundred migratory bird species passing through each year. The island’s twenty-plus varieties of trees and untouched shoreline create a rich habitat where warblers, flycatchers, swallows, herons, finches, wrens, thrushes, blackbirds, martins, loons, and eagles all find a seasonal home. From dawn chorus to sunset calls, birdsong becomes part of the island’s daily rhythm—offering a peaceful, intimate experience for anyone who loves the natural world.

Imagine Yourself On Island Time
A quiet dock, a warm breeze, someone you love beside you—this is the rhythm of Massie Island. The kind of place where the days stretch long, the water stays calm, and life finally slows down enough to notice the beauty around you.
